The Role:
As Head of PR/Social Media at Lamudi Nigeria you will build up PR/Social Media activities for the venture and work hand in hand with our Global PR team. You will be responsible for corporate communication, media relations, as well as content marketing topics. In addition, writing press releases and distributing them to national and international journalists will be a part of your daily tasks.
You will take care of all social media activities and initiatives, ensure a strong pipeline of content for the Lamudi Nigeria Journal and should also have the ability to extend our contacts in both the offline and online media spaces. The organization and implementation of events, interviews as well as photo shoots will be part of your tasks.

Who we are looking for
A university graduate with a degree in communication and media or business administration with a specialization in PR, journalism, marketing or a related area of study. In addition, first relevant work experience in a very dynamic and international work environment. You can successfully build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and other relevant players.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills in English. Furthermore, you combine thinking outside the box with rigorous execution. We flourish from creative ideas only when they are delivered with precision.
