A multinational company based in Lagos, Nigeria which specializes in Manufacturing of packaging machines, has vacancy for the position below:

Position: Electrical Technician for Francophone - West Africa Region

Job Purpose Summary

  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Develop and monitor team goals
  • Coach and assess customers
  • To provide professional technical specialist support and service in respect of all process equipment so that equipment availability and efficiency is optimized and improved and losses and risk are minimized.
  • Perform the day to day total productive maintenance to ensure that Krones machinery are maintained in an effective, up to date accurate manner.
  • Complete equipment/parts requisition
  • Manage, implement and improve continuous projects Conduct audits.
  • Manage personal development and performance
  • Ability to fault find in a logical and professional manner
  • Attend to breakdowns telephonically and physically

Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge in bottling principles, process and manufacturing
  • SHE policies and regulations
  • Strong knowledge and usage of French language (Vital requirement)

Qualification and Education

  • B.Sc/HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Physics
  • Acquire Trade Test

Specific Job Skills

  • Prepare for assemblies and assembling of Mechanical/Electrical components without supervision.
  • Test and store assemblies without supervision
  • Plan and execute installation
  • Commission machinery or plant

Computer Skills:

  • Computer literate is all MS Office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and Internet
  • PLC Software

Other:

  • Ensure adherence to OSH Act and Construction Regulation Act at all times
