Position: Senior Mechanic: Marine and Mining

Ref: INT168
Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • The appointee will act as technical liaison between the Cummins field service organisation and the engineering, quality and manufacturing organisations to identify define, and prioritize complex product issues and to implement solutions.
  • Further responsibilities include coaching and mentoring less experienced service engineers, identifying complex service issues. initiating problem solving, document cost and customer impact information to establish priority tor corrective action.
  • He/ she will lead or manage failure analyses with Field Service, Warranty, and Engineering to communicate and define issues, partner with distributors, dealers and customers to support the investigation of complex escalated product issues, discuss solutions, and conduct training because of complexity, longevity and criticality.
