RESEARCH, MONITORING, EVALUATION AND LEARNING (RMEL INTERN)

 Linking the Youth of Nigeria through Exchange (LYNX-NIGERIA) 15-Jul-2016 OSHOGBO , Volunteer  


This role will work closely with the RMEL officer at LYNX secretariat to assist in the collation and interpretation of M & E data and also in the area of research to ensure effective monitoring of all ongoing projects. The intern position will cover a period of three months and the intern will put in 20hrs per week. A transport stipend will be included to the internship package.

Reports to:

RMEL Officer, LYNX Nigeria

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the RMEL officer in collating M & E data from the state offices
  • Support the RMEL officer in Data entry and analysis
  • Supports the RMEL officer in the Collation of staff performance documents as at when due
  • Supports the RMEL officer in conducting research
  • Supports the RMEL officer in  report writing

Supports the RMEL officer in other tasks assigned by the management

Position Requirements: Qualification and experience needed for this position include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Public admin, social sciences or any related course
  • Basic knowledge of  research methods
  • Basic knowledge of M & E
  • Good communication (oral and written) and inter-personal skills, team player, able to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced academic environment.
  • Good IT skills
  • Passion for Child and Youth development/working with NGOs
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
