JOB OVERVIEW
A Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support a growing network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be part of a Technical Support team that will be responsible for managing and sustaining an Enterprise IT Infrastructure system that meets business objectives and SLAs.
EXPERIENCE
Proven hands-on network engineering experience with 4-6 years of IT (information technology) systems
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of Cisco and Checkpoint firewall
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) or other vendor specific courses, such as Juniper Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE)
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering or its equivalent.
