POSITION : Commercial Legal Administrator

 Descriptions

  • Management and processing of invoices and payments for external solicitors and vendors.
  • Assist with corporate governance research and initiatives, processing enquiries from Directors, Shareholders, regulators etc.
  • Make efficient travel arrangements for the Commercial Legal staff.
  • Respond to customer queries and requests on non-technical issues and escalate to the GM, Commercial Legal, when necessary.
  • Handle Commercial Legal’s internal and external correspondence and processing all requisitions for the Commercial Legal Department
  • Provide administrative/core office support services to the Commercial Legal Department in MTNN and thus contribute to the smooth operation of the department.
  • Coordinate professional and social events connected to the Commercial Legal Department, preparing cost estimates, managing budgets and coordinating all activities for the success of the programmes/events.
  • Provide administrative support for day to day activities of the GM Commercial Legal’s office.
  • Crosscheck appropriateness of requests from Law enforcement agencies and coordinate responses thereto.
  • Compliance with MTNN policies, writing minutes of meetings and producing memos for review
  • Perform quality control checks on Commercial Legal presentations, ensuring proper formatting and elimination of errors
  • Develop and maintain an efficient documentation and filing (electronic and hard) process, archiving and retrieval system as well as assisting in filing of statutory documents.

Job Condition    

  • Normal MTNN working conditions
  • May be required to work extended hours
  • Open plan office

Experience & Training    

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages Training
  • Effective communication/business skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • IFS Training
  •  1 year post-degree experience
  • 1 years’ corporate work experience in an area of specialisation; with experience with working with others
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization 
  • Experience interfacing with and responding to requests from law enforcement agencies
  • Department specific applications

Minimum Qualification

  • BA, BEd, BEng, BSc, BTech or HND.
