We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to oversee the receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations.
As a supervisor you will also be responsible for overseeing warehouse workers, ensuring that they perform their duties as efficiently and safely as possible.
Good communication skills and knowledge of common warehousing best practices is a must.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and warehouse maintenance
• Develop and operate systems to improve space utilization
• Ensure all warehouse data is recorded
• Perform daily inventory inspections
• Recruit, train and motivate employees
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Communicate with suppliers and customers
• Ensure that company operational procedures are followed
Requirements and Skills
• Successful warehouse management experience
• Knowledge of warehouse key performance indicators
• Great communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple processes
