POSITION : Services Specialist - On Site Services

  Responsibilities

  • Perform Data Collection Analysis & Report preparation for machinery problem diagnostics. Configure and optimize Bently Nevada software’s at Customer/s site
  • Perform Remote Machinery and System Audit using Remote Access Service
  • Assure the job is executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the customer’s schedule
  • Identify problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for project success
  • MDS Engineer position is to perform Rotating and Reciprocating Machinery Diagnostics jobs at Customer’s site
  • The job also includes configuration and optimization of Bently Nevada Software’s for their effective usage

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited college or university, Mechanical Engineering back round
  • 2 years of post-qualification experience working in Energy and/or Oil & Gas industries in field maintenance of turbo machinery/vibration analysis diagnostics
  • Knowledge of ADRE & System 1 or other diagnostic tools
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personal
  • Ability to work under stressful working conditions
  • Good computer skills using MS Operating Systems, specifically Windows Server & application S/W such as MS office, Access etc.,Electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills
  • “Hand-on approach”
  • Knowledge of various type of rotating machines
  • Process knowledge of power plants (coal & gas based), refineries, petrochemical plant, etc Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • This position may involve demanding physical requirements and work in offshore/onshore remote locations, where access to medical care is not consistent, and weather conditions extreme
