Our Client, an Internet Service Provider / ICT is in urgent need of a Head of Sales from similar sector for immediate employment.

CRITERIA  FOR THE POSITION      
    
Position:  HEAD OF SALES ( ISP )
 
Reports to:  CEO

Location:  Lagos, Nigeria

EXPERIENCE: Candidate MUST have 10 yrs and above SALES experience from an Internet Service Provider, Telecoms, or FMCG Sector.

Qualifications:  BA or BS / MBA,

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

1. Grow revenues and customer base and achieve the business plan.
 2. Build and lead an effective sales organization.
3. Provide market insight and creativity to the Leadership team.
 
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
1. Build and lead an effective sales organization and develop appropriate channels.
 2. Forecast and deliver business performance.
3. Understand the; needs of the customer, the market, the competition and the operating environment.
 4. Understand the product and contribute to its continuous development.
5. Manage the sales team and implement a performance management system.
6. Be a key contributor and member of the Leadership team.
 7. Represent the company as a spokesperson, as required. 
 
PERSONAL PROFILE:
1. Senior manager with proven experience building and growing a multichannel sales organization incl.: Channel Partners, direct sales and retail targeting the consumer and SME sectors.
 2. Possess the stature and maturity to immediately gain the respect of colleagues and business partners.
3. Ability to influence at all levels and across functions.
 4. Excellent sales hiring and training skills and possess strong verbal and writing skills.
5. Excellent negotiating and analytical skills and the ability to forecast.
6. Ideally, a telecommunications background with ten years in a leading sales role.
 7. Ability to manage conflict with; staff and / or business partners.
 8. Potential to grow into a full Sales & Marketing role (Commercial Head).
 
 
Key performance Indicators:

1. Monthly sales and revenues.
 2. Contributions to the Leadership team meetings.
3. Accuracy of forecasting.
 4. Number of active channel Partners.
