Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited, (formerly Moody International Nigeria Limited) was established in 1996 as a partnership between Moody International Group and Nigerian investors. Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Functional Support Engineer I


Main Functions
Responsible to provide engineering support to one of the disciplines below:

  • Automation & Process Control Division ( Advanced Control, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Online Analyzers, Operator Guidance Technology , Simulation)
  • Equipment Division (Electrical, Energy, Fixed Equipment, Heat Transfer, Machinery, Materials, Mechanical, Noise, Reliability )
  • Specialized Division (Civil, Environmental, Marine, Oil Spill, Petroleum, Measurement, Process Safety, Quality Assurance)

Tasks And Responsibility

  • Learning fundamental of core competency;
  • Perform work on small project;
  • Build business & organizational knowledge

Job Requirements

  • Closely related professional experience
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering within discipline
  • Able to provide assistance to more senior engineers.
  • Can work independently or with minimal direction in some situations.
  • Takes technical initiative, and is able to learn quickly and apply knowledge to technical success.
  • This is a job level 1 position: 1 to 10 y ears o f related experience is required
  • Ability to perform computer-aided structural designs and analyses using appropriate engineering software.
  • Working knowledge of SACS or StruCAD*3D is preferable
