Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • In our quest to expand our finance team, we are in pursuit of a meticulous Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year's experience in accounting, a fervent passion for numbers, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the company's financial integrity.
  • Proficiency in Zohobooks, along with the capability to utilize ERPREV, will be deemed an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in the compilation of financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide support during monthly and yearly closing procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns, balance sheets, and other pivotal financial documents.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and additional financial tasks.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to foster relationships.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must reside in Yaba and Environs.
  • A minimum of one year's professional experience in the realm of accounting.
  • Proficiency in Zohobooks; familiarity with ERPREV is an added benefit.
  • Strong analytical prowess coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
  • An acute attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

Salary
N60,000 - N100,000 / month.
