Job Description
- Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
- Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data.
- Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts.
- Defining accounting policies and procedures.
- Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
- Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Disbursement of checks for company expenses.
- Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits.
Job Requirements
- A good OND, HND or B.Sc in accounting with 3 years experience.
- Applicants that resides along Lagos Island, Obalande and Yaba axis will be preferred.
Skills:
- Problem analysis and solving
- Good communication skill both verbal and writing
- Good knowledge and use of Accounting software such as Excel, Peachtree, Sage e.t.c
- Excellent negotiating skill
- Confident and poised in interactions with individuals at various levels
