Job Title: SENIOR COMPLETIONS ENGINEERING SERVICES
Job Location: Port Harcourt Nigeria
Job Description
Services to be performed by the CONTRACTOR shall include the following, but without limitation:
Job Objectives
- Guarantee the accomplishment of well completion, intervention and work-over operations, in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimising costs and lead times
- Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services
- Contribute to the return on Exploration & Production investments, through a continual search for the improving equipment, services and operational procedures
Job Description:
- Perform engineering and prepare programs for initial completion of wells, well interventions and workover operations including cost estimate for the jobs.
- Follow up operations from base and provide technical support for the execution of approved operational job programs.
- Occasionally go to site for engineering supervision of job programs.
- Prepare end of well technical report and make presentations of job result to management
- Draw up operating procedures
- Ensure follow-up of cost of operations
- Conduct engineering studies to improve performance of completion, intervention and workover operations
- Prepare and conduct invitations to tender for service and equipment contracts
- Optimize activities of service providers and assess their performance
- Ensure the respect of safety rules and frames of reference
- Prepare annual budget for completion, intervention and workover operations
- Anticipate equipment needs for completion, intervention and workover operations and organize supply
- Propose technological innovations
- Write and present technical papers on novel operations performed.
- Contribute to improving skills and know-how within Completion and Intervention team
- Participate in R&D projects
- Participate in the coaching of young engineers and technicians in the team
- Administration
- In charge of the day to day running of the rig
- Participate in the training of COMPANY junior staff
- Contribute to the improvement of skills and the know-how
- Participate in evaluating job holders
Job Scheme:
• Rotational scheme: 4 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF (7 days a week including weekends and public holidays)
Job Personnel Profile:
- Initial formal education/diplomas: Minimum University Degree in Engineering
- Professional experience of more than 10 years in Well completions, Interventions and Workovers in both offshore and onshore locations.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French will be an advantage
- MANDATORY Trainings / HSE qualification certificates:
- IWCF valid for at least 6 months
- SAS/HUET valid for at least 6 months
- MANDATORY Medical fitness certificate
