Job Description
- Ideally have at least 10 years relevant experience and be knowledgeable of working on significant assignments on design teams for process plants FEED requirements and significant involvement in large Static Equipment deliverables.
- In this position the incumbent will provide static equipment engineering expertise to the Engineering team through the Development Process Concept Select, BOD and FEED phases.
- Be accountable to the Static Equipment Leader for all Static Equipment and assist in custodianship of Static equipment engineering activities, integrity and quality during the FEED phase.
Requirements
- Comprehensive engineering experience is required to support this role, Preferable Mechanical
- Experience in both the conceptual engineering and detailed design of offshore oil & gas mechanical systems including pressure vessels, piping, materials handling and general equipment packages.
- Assist in, in-house design and construction engineering of new plant facilities, in accordance with International Codes and Standards, Company Specifications and good engineering practices
- An understanding of life cycle total cost of ownership, reliability, operability and maintainability, with a particular focus on vendor equipment.
- Experience with interfacing with other disciplines
- Ensure physical assets are fit for purpose and maintain design intent over full life cycle, defining and embedding effective Static equipment engineering processes and written schemes of examination.
- Provide assurance that all Mechanical and Static equipment policies and procedures comply with Client’s standards and industry, legislative practices and provide input to and feedback on implementation of Group standards as well as promoting and developing a safety and environmental awareness culture.
- Participate in site surveys of facilities to establish and identify actual requirements
- Have a positive attitude, good team-worker
- Be analytic, proactive and have good communication skill
Educational Qualification
- Degree level Education
- 10 years Static Equipment Engineering experience
- Must be fluent in English (Read, write, Speak)
