Job Title: Technology Development Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To be responsible for design and technology advancement for new service development, research and innovations.
- Oversee the development or capacity to perform services in strategic areas of company's activities.
- Supervise the training and rncntoring of engineers and support staff
- Write perforrnance standards to fulfiljob responsibilities.
- Track industry technology development and standards bodies and make recommendations on roadmaps and companies.
- Continuously audit and advise on resource requirements for projects.
- Analyze market demand for company's service offerings and available resources.
- To perform gap analysis of capacity and current practice and devise corrective actions.
- Develop engineering and technical service processes for improved performance and innovation
- Develop from time to time. overall concept for a new service offering suggested by top management or dictated by industry demand.
- Conduct technical efficiency and performance reviews.
- Draft proposals and report clients for project solutions.
- Provide input for manuals, application notes. marketing materials and technical support.
- Check overall quality and technical accuracy of work performance.
- Coordinate organization and work methods of units with other units within the company.
- Leading programs and teams to develop. test. modify and create solutions to technical problems,
- Ensure that best practices are known and understood within project teams and the company.
- Interact and assist all major project managers to improve overall performance.
- Review execution plans of projects including planning and tracking.
- Continuously improving company procedures and systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a good engineering degree. preferably with Masters along with professional engineering certifications .
- Minimum of 15 years experience in engineering design. and engineering project management.
- Strong, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently .
- Effective organization, project management and coordination skills .
- Project engineering experience is a prerequisite
