Job Title: Engineer, Enterprise Projects
Job Location: Abuja, NG
Job Summary
Provide project and resource plans supporting the delivery of all enterprise services.
Principal Functions
- Ensure customer/client solutions are deployed within project implementation schedule.
- Develop business cases for enterprise projects and ensure all approvals to enable delivery are completed.
- Seek management sign-off and commitment from all key stakeholders of the project covering the design, development, testing, deployment and Sign-off.
- Project manage the end-to-end project delivery cycle for projects
- Responsible for developing project plans, schedules and change control systems to ensure efficient and timely delivery of all enterprise projects.
- Assist with Enterprise Network infrastructure engineering projects to support enterprise network services.
- Coordinate and drive Technical Site Surveys and reports
- Provide regular update on various stages of enterprise projects
- Assist with Enterprise Network infrastructure engineering projects to support enterprise network services.
- Liaise regularly with the deployment, Operation and other relevant teams to ensure smooth integration of new enterprise solution into the network.
- Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to microwave & fibre transmission.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge and database of existing enterprise links.
- Assist in the preparation of RFI and or RFP responses
Educational Requirements
- Engineering Degree or equivalent from a recognised University
- Project Management certifications preferable
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- At least 3 years experience in an area of Enterprise network - Project Management.
- Sound knowledge of Enterprise Network (IP & Transmission) - Project Management
- Experience with Microsoft office tools especially MS projects.
