Huawei Technologies is recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1. Job Title: Tools Specialist
Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Supervise the periodic maintenance of the system and, when necessary, request field service from system vendors.
- Maintain the operating integrity of the system by managing, tuning and ensuring optimal performance of the system and ensuring that all the components of the system are at the current patch levels in line with the Customer’s
- Enterprise software Update Policy
- Co-ordinate the archiving of data from disk to tape or other media and retrieval from archive
- Maintain periodic system backups and have HP Network Node Manager Experience
- Ability to fully administratively manage OMW system and ability to develop Operation manager policies to monitor non standard applications
- Ability to design and architect changes to OMW message stream and Experience working with OM agents
Requirements:
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience preferably in the Telecoms with at least three (3) years at supervisory position
General Requirement
- Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
- Good customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently
- Should ho ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (word. excel and PowerPoint)
- Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
- Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written.
- Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.

2. Job Title: Configuration, Release & Change Management Specialist
Job Location: Lagos
Requirement
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Masters degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience preferably in the Telecoms with at least three (3) years at supervisory position

3. Job Title: Manager, Capacity Management
Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
Capacity Management Manager should describe the deliverables and its qualifications. Capacity Management - is not only for Infrastructure but also across applications and other IT environment and domains. The candidate should have experience and competently capable of producing a capacity plan - which is a basic and fundamental activity for any capacity planning activities.
Requirement
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience preferably in the Telecoms with at least three (3) years at supervisory position.
4. Job Title: Testing Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan and direct the activities of test engineers, maximizing effectiveness.
- Responsible for analyzing, generating, estimating and delivering
- Use Cases and Test plans within the constraints of flirts, cost and quality, to the customer’s satisfaction, acting as a responsible point of contact for the team.
- Manage and measure performance and delivery against work plans, and take-corrective action where necessary.
Requirement
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Masters degree is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in Testing
- Good business relationship with telecom industry consultant, analyst institute.
- Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience preferably in the Telecoms with at least three (3) years at supervisory position
5. Job Title: Specialist, Unix Systems
Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of approved policies and procedures for UNIX operating system design, implementation and maintenance.
- Provide input in the planning of UNIX operating systems upgrades and deployment.
- Provide support in the implementation and user acceptance testing of UNIX operating systems
Requirements:
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.
- Hands on experience with SUN Solaris, HP-OX, Linux and Oracle VM
