Total E & P Nigeria Limited (TEPNG) is a leading Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company and a subsidiary of the Total Group. The company is in a growth phase, and as part of its expansion activities, welcomes applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for its Oil & Gas Production Operations Training Scheme facilitated by a Training Company. During the training programme participants will be on a Training Contract and on successful completion of the training programme would be considered for the usual recruitment process leading to employment in TEPNG.

Job Description:

The holder of the position reports to the Head of IT Infrastructure Administration, Lagos will assist to ensure availability and optimization of the UNIX and Windows systems. The job holder will actively participate in studies, testing and validation of recommendations for the evolution of the UNIX and Windows systems in line with actual or anticipated needs. He or She will also be responsible for provision of Infrastructure solutions on Network, Storage, License Services, Databases, Backups/Restore, Scalability etc.
The holder of the position will assist in the anticipation and planning of systems evolution taking into account the customers' needs and new technologies, study existing systems and design improvement procedures and methods.

Requirements:

B.SC or M.SC in Computer Science or Engineering; NYSC certificate.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience.

Skills:

Good problem diagnosis/solving and analytical skill, knowledge of computer networking, good reporting and communication skills, methodical and well organized.
Knowledge of French Language is an added advantage
