Job description 

  • Ensure effective and efficient management of marine engineering resources
  • Regular Assessment of Km On Hse, Cost, Schedule, Quality, Responsiveness To Client, Etc.
  • The Marine Superintendent is responsible for the overall operation of the Company's Passenger Vessels/ Cargo Vessels / High Speed Crafts / Bollard Pull Tugs. The authority of the Marine Superintendent encompasses the approval of resources and personnel necessary for smooth and efficient operation and monitoring the performance of the Company's fleet. The Marine Superintendent is responsible for the safe, economical and efficient running of the vessels under his control.
  • Planning and execution of dry docking and shipyard repair work.
  • Heads Emergency Response Team.
  • Takes over the duties of Engineer Superintendent in his absence.
  • Sanctioning all repairs on board.

Requirements 

  • Good First Degree In An Engineering Discipline And/Or Any Relevant Technical Discipline. A Degree In Naval Achitecture Will Be An Advantage.
  • A Minimum Of 10 Years In The Oil And Gas Business, With A Demonstrable Track Record Of Not Less Than 8 Years In Fleet Maintenance
  • Experience in Shipbuilding and/or ship repair and in dry docking operations.
  • Previous Experience With 10cs Will Be Desirable.
  • A Fundamental Understanding Of Key Subjects Including Hse, Cost, Time, Quality And Customer Management, Extensive .
  • Must be confident with excellent written and oral communication skills
