Purpose of the Position
Under the overall guidance of the Head of the Office, the incumbent of the post is responsible for supporting the Nigeria office in mitigating risks related to governance, programmes (including emergency programmes) and operations processes. S/he will provide adequate and continuous feedback to the head of Office on the quality, relevance and efficiency of programme and operational implementation in the field and adherence to UNICEF's zero tolerance for corruption, in addition to and independently from the monitoring carried out by field offices.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate
EDUCATION
Masters University degree in business administration and financial management.
*A first university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of advanced university degree.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Five years of continuous professional work experience of managing large projects or programmes, including financial management, particularly developing and implementing financial control systems, preferably with an international development agency or NGO.
LANGUAGES
Fluency in English is required.
