nnov8 Ltd a specialist Oil & Gas recruitment firm is recruiting for a highly reputable Indigenous Oil & Gas company seeking to fill the following positions below: (minimum of 4 years’ experience )
Job Title: Treasury Accountant
Job Location: Lagos
- Ensures compliance with all relevant Tax regulations.
- Ensures that Tax planning is robust and efficient, with no residual financial exposure.
- Prepare and review Tax estimates and actual filing with the Tax Consultant, and shareholders functional expats (if necessary) prior to submission to the FIRS.
- Prepare and file indirect taxes with relevant tax authorities timely and accurately to avoid penalties and other exposures.
- Design and implement efficient document retention system to ensure that documents to support Tax/Regulatory compliance are available when required.
- In conjunction with the Management Accountant prepare the annual statutory accounts.
- Responsible for coordinating the annual statutory audits and resolving promptly all audit queries.
- Ensures that company’s share of gas revenue is collected timely and properly accounted for.
- Responsible for ensuring that Company’s bank accounts are efficiently managed; and that interests and charges are reasonable in line with contracts.
- Responsible for ensuring that distribution is made to the individual shareholders per the resolutions of the Board.
- In conjunction with other members of the Finance team, develop, manage and ensure compliance with reporting policies and processes of the company.
- Ensure that Company accounts conform to International Financial
- Reporting Standards.
- Where requested provide financial input and advice to the
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ·
University degree.
- · The ideal candidate should possess a recognised professional accounting qualification with relevant post qualifying experience in the oil and gas industry.
