Asiko Energy and Gas Terminalling - We are a Nigerian based LPGas group of companies. Asiko Power, our subsidiary company speacializes in dual gas fuelled (LPGas and Natural Gas) captive cooling, heating and power projects. 

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: HVAC Engineer

Job Location:   Lagos
 

Job Description

  • The job is based in Lagos and reports to a General Manager for Operations and supervises Field Technicians. This role is pivotal to the company's new energy arm.
  • The candidate must be proactive and demonstrate lateral thinking in order to provide solutions and or comfort to many potential clients who are new to hydronic systems. The candidate needs to have leadership skills to manage the field workers/artisans at the core of the installation work.
  • Candidate must be able to assess heat load calculation and then design, install, and commission HVAC systems, specifically chilled water based units. Candidate must have experience of troubleshooting and resolving the issues inherent with chilled water air conditioning systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC Engineering degree
  • Hydronic systems installation (experience on chilled water systems is a must)
  • Absorption chiller experience
  • Boiler and hot water systems experience
  • HVAC systems commissioning & troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of electrics and electronics
  • Middle Eastern (hot and dry/humid) climate experience would be a bonus
