VACANCY FOR LIBRARIAN/FRONT DESK (OND!!!)



SUMMARY:



The Front desk office is part of the communications unit, and is responsible for the day to day management of the front office in close coordination with the Communications Coordinator. The librarian / Front Desk will report directly to the Communications Coordinator.



 



RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific tasks performed include but are not limited to:



LIBRARIAN




  • Ordering and receiving library materials;

  • Preparation and organisation of library;

  • Recording the receipt of library books;

  • Cataloging and classification of library books into different categories

  • Maintaining and processing of books database;

  • Receiving of deposits for lending of books from library users

  • Maintaining and tidying of the library



Front Desk




  • Answering phones and greeting and directing guests;

  • Responding to complaints from clients and transfer them to the proper units to be resolved;

  • Supervise the sales and ensure all registration are recorded in  the Log book; 

  • Assist the communications unit at programmes

  • Assist the management with the Social Media

  • Handling questions about company’s programmes and dealing with clients’  enquiries as appropriate;

  • Maintaining and tiding the front desk office, which would include:




  • Printing, placing and arranging of programme flyers in front desk.

  • Mail/letter distribution to different units

  • Use of the computer. All complaints must be forwarded to the I.T unit.



 



Remuneration: Very Attractive
