Hobark International Limited is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos. The group offers the following services.

 Position: Senior Reservoir Engineer

Description

Candidate must possess capability to supervise and impact his/her subordinates. Candidate must be familiar and conversant with production/reservoir engineering activities, capturing and management of data generated from such activities, analysis of such data and making recommendations for decisions that will lead to getting the best out of E& P assets assigned to him/her or the team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • SOUND Post NYSC well rounded oil and gas experience working in multidisciplinary team and must have added value to assets through applications of sound reservoir engineering management techniques.
  • Must be capable of applying petroleum engineering principles to solve problems and identify hydrocarbon production enhancement opportunities
  • Must have good overall practical oilfield operations knowledge
  • Must be capable of working seamlessly with production operations groups and geoscientists in executing reservoir engineering solutions.
  • Must have working knowledge of commonly used reservoir/production management software
  • Must have strong interpersonal skill to work in a multidisciplinary and multi-tasking teams
  • Must be very analytical and should be able to deliver with little supervision.
  • MUST HAVE ABILITY TO PLAN AND LEAD PROJECTS.
  • MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE.

Skills and Attributes

  • CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS A BACHELOR DEGREE IN PETROLEUM ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, PETROCHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR OTHER RELEVANT DISCIPLINE (WITH SECOND CLASS UPPER DEGREE). EDUCATION TO AN M.SC LEVEL WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE.
  • MINIMUM OF EIGHT YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE OIL INDUSTRY WITH AN OPERATOR WITH A TRACK RECORD OF PRODUCING QUALITY RESULTS WITHIN A TIME BOUND ENVIRONMENT.
  • PROFICIENT IN THE USE OF RESERVOIR, PRODUCTION AND EOR PACKAGES.
