We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Position: Instructional Designer

Job Description

  • This person will be responsible for determining the skill gap of a target learning audience, identify what has to be taught to fill this skill gap, then design and develop training courses that will enable a learner “DEMONSTRATE” verifiable competency in these skills after the training.
  • This person is not meant to be an expert at any of the course topical areas. Rather, s/he will be required to extract information from subject matter experts (SMEs) on the training topics and structure and organize this information into exciting and easy to understand course content that makes it easy for the target audience to learn and practically apply these skills.
  • VMLearn is looking for someone to lead the development of hands-on training courses on key soft & technical skills used in the corporate world. This course will be delivered via e-learning (Online or mobile mediums through video, audio, text or image content).
  • The ideal person should conceptually and intuitively understand how people learn, know how to connect with an audience at an emotional level, be creative enough to craft new and exciting ways of teaching, should be good at writing instructional content (Manuals, assessments, case studies, etc) and be a voracious learner for himself - interested in varied subject matter.
