We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Position: Animal Nutritionist
Reporting: Reports directly to the General Manager
Responsibilities
- Visiting customers Farm and assisting in analyzing their animals nutritional disorders.
- Using Computer software to formulating diets and produce reports.
- Advising and working with client/customers on how to formulate diets that meet their requirements and objectives.
- To formulate nutritionally balanced diet for domestic animals and livestock using locally and imported feed materials.
- Assessing Nutritional values of various feed and raw materials.
- Supporting the work of Company Feed Consultants.
- Regularly convening enlightenment Customer fora to maintain customer awareness of new technical and scientific developments.
Core Functions
- To promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- To demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers and assisting them select those best suited to their needs.
Details of Functions
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Coordinates sales effort with accounting, stores and technical service groups.
- Provides management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Qualification Requirements
- A Degree in HND/B.Sc in Animal Nutrition.
- Must reside in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun or Osun states.
- Must be willingly to relocate if need arises.
- Must have a minimum of 2years working experience.
