PRODUCTION MANAGER
As a production manager you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. You will also ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently.
Job Descriptions:
· As a production manager you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of the entire manufacturing processes.
· You shall have to always ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and at the right level of quality.
* Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
* Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
* Planning of the human and material resources requirements for full capacity utilization.
* Drafting job timescales for all production line and manual activities.
* Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
* Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
* Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
* Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
* Identifying training needs.
Requirement:
· 5-8 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry as a senior officer in the production department.
· Experience as a production manager is an added advantage.
· Applicant must be a pharmacist (B.Pharm. and other suitable qualification; MBA or MSc preferred)
· Applicants must possess the following skills;
· Communication, presentation and IT skills and Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
