We are expanding our operations within Nigeria and launching new initiatives on the continent. As a result, we require young, self-driven and highly skilled digital journalists to join our team of award-winning and highly motivate journalism innovators.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Position: Multimedia Journalist

Responsibilities

  • Write and report for diverse digital platforms
  • Engage audience on social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc., regularly
  • Meet clearly-spelt out weekly multimedia production target
  • Generate outstanding digital story ideas for multiple platforms
  • Excellent news judgment and great flair for imaginative storytelling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2.2 or its equivalent
  • Experience: 1-3 years in multimedia journalism
  • Good writing, sub-editing and proofreading skills
  • Solid understanding of content consumption habits
  • Good nose for news
  • Strong social media presence
