Job Description:

• Generate new business via sales promotions, out marketing calls, presentations/ seminars and in branch contacts and build relationships with existing customers
• Increase overall profitability of the business through focusing upon operational efficiency and service excellence
• Deliver branch SME and Wealth Management budgets with respect to P and L and balance sheet targets in terms of liability targets by product, number of accounts and value of accounts

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Fully responsible for delivering branch SME and Wealth management budgets with respect to P and L and Balance sheet targets in terms of Liability targets by product, Number of accounts and value of accounts
• Performance Management, Training and Development, Job Rotation, Periodic coaching, LDP implementation
• Generating new business via Sales promotions, out marketing calls, presentations/ seminars and in branch contacts and build relationships with existing customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Adequate management and office administration concepts.
• University degree (minimum 2:2), with other relevant academic & work experience
• Sound knowledge of general banking laws and practices

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• Familiar with computer processing/applications.
• Sales targeting and cost budgeting.
• Monitoring and reviewing sales performance/analysis
• Striking balance between customer’s needs/requests and bank rules/policies/procedures
• Experience in lending propositions preparation/processing
• Competence in financial accounting/forecasts
• Ability to plan daily/periodic operationsa
• High Marketing/selling proficiency.

In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
