ACF-International is a registered charity, founded in 1979 now operating in 37 countries. ACF in Nigeria is seeking young, motivated, and experienced professionals to support strengthening nutrition programming in Jigawa State.

JOB TITLE:STATE TECHNICAL ADVISOR

REQUIREMENTS

BSC degree in Programme Management, Health & Nutrition, Public Health, and/or related social science with +3 – 5 years experience in managing health & nutrition programs

JOB TITLE:LGA TECHNICAL ADVISOR

QUALIFICATION

BSC degree in progamme Management, Health & Nutrition, public Health, and/or related social science with 1-2 years experience in managing health & nutrition programs, committed to live at LGA level.

JOB TITLE: MONITORING & EVALUATION (M&E) ADVISOR

QUALIFICATION

Advanced training in quantitative methodologies, including database management; direct experience of M&E related health, HIV, nutrition and/or economics; strong analytic skills, and an understanding of a range of methods for monitoring, evaluation and assessment to promote evidence-based learning.

JOB TITLE:INFANT & YOUNG CHILD FEEDING ADVISOR:

QUALIFICATION

Health background (doctor, nurse, midwife, etc) with at least 3 years professional experience. At least 2 years experience on IYCF and breastfeeding counseling

SKILLS FOR ALL POSITION:
- Sound strategic thinking and planning skills, including ability to think creativity/innovating and to set priorities, manageable work plans and progress with strong interested in sustainability
- Ability to build support from staff across teams and members, and or to build the capacity of others
- Ability to work in partnership with government and other organizations staff
- Advanced computer knowledge & usage
- Fluency (both written and verbal) in English and Hausa essential
- Independence, adaptability and flexibility
- Commitment to team work and understanding of how to contribute
- Commitment to ACF mission values and approach

DESIRABLE SKILLS FOR ALL POSITION:
- Previous experience with local and international NGO
- Broad understanding of rights and development issues, international relations and he international humanitarian systems
