OUR COMPANY:
We are a recruitment & HR services firm and we are currently looking for Brand Manager, Healthcare – West Africa for our leading client in FMCG.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the brand with high quality timely marketing input and implement tactical plans / projects in order to maximise the value of the brand(s).
Act as brand champion to create enthusiasm and focus internally and with external customers and agencies.
Contribute to the strategizing & providing inputs on integrated annual brand plan based on 4Ps (Product positioning, Pricing, Placement & Promotion) from insights to execution details.
Coordinate the communication of product related information across the organization
Develop Consumer Insights and Concepts.
Develop on-going Pyramid of influence (POI) and HCP Ad Map.
Maintain mutually beneficial relationship with Pharmacist Associations, Doctor Associations and consumer/patient groups.
Ensure execution of media plans and media budgets with timely monitoring.
Proactive development of marketing and promotional mix to meet brand objectives and customer needs.
Liaison with external agencies to deliver initiatives for brand
Monitor and control brand budgets, forecasts and expenses and assess the marketing mix of assigned products to evaluate cost effectiveness and results via appropriate tools to deliver corrective action as required meeting business objectives.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.Sc. in the Sciences, Business, Marketing
2 -5 years operational marketing / product management experience
Pharmaceutical sales experience (minimum 6 months sales rep rotation)
Launch experience with new products or major line extensions
Experience in pharmaceutical brand/product communications
Exposure to multi-country product launches
