POSITION: Cake Decorator

Duties

Decorates cakes and pastries Trims uneven surfaces of cakes or cuts and shapes cake to required size
Spreads icing between layers and on surfaces of cake Prepare and mix icing May be required to mix and bake cakes or pastries
Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen or bakery
Create decorative displays

Skills / Qualifications

Culinary training or knowledge
Excellent communication skills (oral) Assertiveness, adaptability and efficiency
Being creative and artistic
Being physically resilient
Reading and understanding written instructions
Teamwork and safety

POSITION: Shop Front Assistant

Job Description

Ability to work the cash register and deal with money
Must keep surroundings clean and presentable at all times
Maintains a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
Maintains full knowledge of breads, pastries, cakes and other pertinent information
Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
Inform customers of daily specials and menu changes
Develops relationships with guests
Neatly pack purchased produce for guests
Correctly and precisely calculates each guests bill and returns change to guests quickly
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by manager
Replenish produce.

POSITION: Chef

Duties

Liaise with kitchen staff, cafe regarding customers order and general service of kitchen operations
Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils Cleaning sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas
Maintaining a professional, safe and hygienic appearance on duty
Direct and coordinate food preparations Manage employees and monitor performance Requisition stock, materials, supplies or equipment Assist in creating a menu Performs additional duties, although not detailed, as requested by the manager

POSITION: Packager

Job Description

Maintains highly sanitized work environment.
Carefully package products for shop sales and deliveries.
Operates and cleans equipment such as Bread slicer & Sealing machine
Requisitions adequate supplies and keeps records of products made and used
Prepare items required for following day’s consumption
Display products as necessary while maintaining exceptional presentation
Liaise with logistics team and production supervisor on delivery and product leftovers
Ensure that only good quality products are sold.
Any other duty as required by your line manager.
