POSITION : Production Supervisor
Job Descriptions
Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, observing control points and equipment used in production.
Take full responsibility in terms of management of production, quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance and general issues.
Ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all machine operators.
Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the production process.
Maintain high level of timekeeping in the production plan in order to achieve set targets and customers order.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
Monitor the activities of the machine operators and the factory workers to see that production procedures are well followed and that factory ethics are not broken.
Ensure company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
Requirements
A first degree in a science related field
2-3 years post-graduate experience in a factory environment.
Good understanding of health and safety
Analytical and mathematical minds
