Role Summary/Purpose:
The Accounting Leader role demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the O&G business. In this role you will use your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
This position will support the entire Nigeria D&P O&G business with +$1B in potential future orders/projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
•Supports Management in providing QMI forecasts and analysis across DP&S platforms.
•Develops and provides routine and adhoc spend reports for all function leaders to track actual vs OP spend
•Leads routine and adhoc analysis of Income Statements and submission of monthly reports
•Manages Intercompany accounting system: Month end matching, journal entries, confirmation, settlements and account reconciliations
•Ensures smooth monthly load of Hyperion data and providing info on any queries to Management.
•Manages the Internal Billing System (IBS) for PCSNL
•Prepares and submitsOrders & Backlogs reports monthly and attends to HQ queries on quarter trends.
•Provides technical direction to assigned organization
•Reviews processes to improve overall efficiency•Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•At least 4-6 additional years of experience in a financial position
•Certified/Professional Accountant or Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
