POSITION : Logistics Supervisor
Job Description
Required to take a lead position on the events.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with all contractors, venues and service companies ensuring that they are kept up to date on requirements and standard of service expectations
Ensure that events are within approved budget
Ensure costs are negotiated and managed as best as possible across all areas of the event
At all times to strive for excellence and ensure that attention to detail and high standards of delivery and customer service are maintained
Ensure that all events are delivered within the agreed event process timeline and milestones are met
Skill Requirements
Degree: is preferred but not essential ideally in event management and social science
Entrepreneurial attitude
Ability to manage own varied workload, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines
People management
A high standard of customer service both on the telephone and on site should be maintained at all times
Experience of managing budgets
