African Capital Alliance, is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate, to fill the position below:
POSITION : Investment Officer, Private Equity & Real Estate Private Equity
Responsibilities
Oversee the due diligence/ underwriting process on new potential investments
Prepare investment committee memorandums and participate in investment committee presentations
Develop financial models using appropriate tools
Assist with capital raising and various investor relations requests
Handle the portfolio management of select assets
Function as a contact for existing funds and joint venture relationships
Formulate recommendations and action plans for investments based on financial analysis
Execute/oversee business plans for new investments
Conduct investment/market research
Review and respond to requests from LPs and investment partners
Desired Qualifications and Background
Experience in Investment Banking/ Private Equity/ Corporate Finance
Strong financial modeling experience
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure
Preferred graduate degree in business, finance, or real estate
High degree of integrity and personal and professional ethics
Desire to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization
Previous real estate experience is preferred for Real Estate Private Equity
