JOB TITLE: DIRECT SALES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

STRESERT Services Limited is a professional business support services company offering quality support services covering manpower resourcing, managed staffing, training and development programmes and immigration services to corporate organisations. Our client is a leading player in the Insurance industry. Due to their growth rate they are in need of qualified candidates with a good track record to take up the roles of Direct Sales Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A 1st degree or H.N.D in any discipline
• At least 5 years work experience of which 2 must have been spent in a leadership sales role.
• Proven history of generating revenue
• A good track record of managing teams
• Relationship management skills
• The ability to understand and analyze sales figures
• Good IT, budget and report writing skills
• Excellent marketing skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Good business acumen
• The ability to motivate and lead a team
• Initiative and enthusiasm.
  
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
• The ability to work calmly under pressure

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruitment and Training of Direct Sales Agents
• Supervise sales of insurance products from all recruited Direct Sales Agents (DSAs).
• Monitor Direct Sales Agents’ liaison with customers.
• Identify appropriate product mix for DSAs.
  
• Maintain relationship with existing customers
• Manage and maintain weekly, monthly and all required sales reports
• Manage development plans for DSAs e.g. coaching
• Any other assignments given by the Agency Manager
