JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL /SYSTEM SUPPORT OFFICER
JOB LOCATION: LAGOS
JOB DESCRIPTION
SB Telecoms intends to groom young energetic mind, who intends to build a career in IT/Telecoms to take up this position for a global challenge.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Confidence, a self starter between the ages of 18-25 years.
- OND/HND Computer Engineering, OND/HND Electrical Electronic, and other equivalent.
- A thorough knowledge of operating system, hardware and office software (networking will be an added advantage)
- Good problem solving appetite and analytical skills.
- Commitment to keep to up-to-date IT development
- Electrical and electronic knowledge is an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and deadline
- Patient and perseverance
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to explains problem and solution clearly to non-technical personnel
- Well organized
- Good communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing and configuring equipment and upgrading of existing systems
- Carry out repairs and maintenance equipment
- Work with project engineers on implementation/installation of devices
- Carries out and ensures prompt resolution and fulfillment of all support problem tickets till closure while ensuring prompt reports/visibility of the service ticket resolution operations.
- Ensure relevant product/technology knowledge updates, knowledge of current product for self development and on the job proficiency.
- Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
