The Governing Council of Binyammu Usman, Polytechnic Hadejia, Jigawa State, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant position of: 

POSITION : Registrar

Responsibilities

  • The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Polytechnic and is Responsible to the Rector for the day to day running of the Polytechnic,
  • He functions as the Secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and other Statutory Committees among others.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A holder of a good honors Bachelor's Degree (at least a Second Class lower Division) in relevant fields (Arts, Social Sciences or Administration, from a recognized institution with at least 17 years post qualification experience.
  • A holder of Masters and Doctorate Degree in relevant fields with at least 15 and 12 years post qualification experience respectively.
  • Candidates should have at least twelve (12) years cognate experience preferably in an institution of higher learning or other related organizations
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies (like NIM, IPMAN, ANUPA,, FICEN, etc)
  • Evidence of Community Service and Knowledge of I.C.T is required.
  • Candidates must not be more than fifty five (55) years of age and thirty (30) years in service at the time of appointment.

Condition of Service

  • The appointment s for an initial period of five (5) years renewable for three (3) years and no more.

Salary
Consolidated on CONTIDESS 15.
