JOB DESCRIPTION
Chemonics seeks senior-level health specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded health project to expand the use of best practices in HIV/AIDS throughout West Africa. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in lives of people around the world

TECHNICAL ASSINGMENTS :

• HIV/AIDS
• Reproductive Health and family planning
• Maternal, neonatal and child health
• Nutrition
• Tuberculosis
• Health systems
• Health communications
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Knowledge Management
• Grants Management

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide overall program direction and technical expertise.
• Serve as the projects principal liaison with USAID, institutions and client partners
• Provide managerial and technical support to technical specialists
• Supervise project sub-components, activities, and a diverse professional Staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• M.P.H., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent combination of education and work experience in health related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in developing countries with a focus in one of the technical area listed above (additional experience may be required for specific positions)
• Experience working in USAID or other donor-funded projects.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity
• Proficiency in English and french preferred
