JOB DESCRIPTION
Its an exciting time of growth and development for the organization and we need a Head of Sales and Marketing

JOB FUNCTION:

  • Development and implementation of the sales strategy to maintain and drive business growth
  • Development and implementation of the marketing strategy with a focus on creating and developing the brand, proposition and communications
  • The Sales and Marketing function is central to the success of our technical, manufacturing, production and support teams. Our team provides the sales and marketing expertise to complement the technical skills at our organization and we are committed to delivering very high standards.


 ACCOUNTABILITES:

  • Senior sales and marketing manager in charge of all sales activities,
  • departments and personnel involved in sales and marketing field for the company.
  • Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Marketing Department while maintaining focus on the organisations strategic goals.
  • Member of the organizations Executive Committee.
  • Analyse sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
  • Establishes performance targets for all Sales and Marketing department employees and monitors performance on a continual basis in line with the organisations policies and procedures.
  • Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and marketing.
  • Develops, or participates with the senior staff in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the organization.
  • Directs the department to achieve objectives established in the organizations Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinates sales marketing operations with all other departments/divisions of the oroanisations.
  • Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the organisation.
  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the organisation.
  • Senior responsibility for all Trade Accounts Receivables, Monitors AiR aging on a proactive basis with his personnel, coordinates with the Finance department

QUALIFICATION:

  • A bachelors degree in business related field
  • An MBA is highly desirable


EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in marketing and sales with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management. sales and business development along with a

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
