JOB TITLE: EVENT MANAGER
JOB LOCATION: LAGOS

JOB DESCRIPTION
Vconnect is Nigeria’s largest local search engine, part of a group which has more than 10000 employees. Vconnect is the simplest and most cost-effective way for Nigerian to local business information. We work across the internet, SMS, fixed land and mobile telephone networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Publicising an event
  • Booking locations, halls and equipment
  • Networking with industry professional
  • Working with artistes and other entertainers
  • Managing event budgets
  • Negotiating contracts and fees
  • Generating innovative ideas
  • Overseeing setting up of a venue

QUALIFICATION:

  • Preferably Masters Degree / Degree in Mass Communication
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years in Event Management / PR/ MC
  • Good Communications skills.
  • Good understanding about online marketing
  • Good knowledge about Advert sales (online or offline)
  • Go getter attitude.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint Presentation, MS Excel
