POSITION : Head, Finance & Accounts

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Executive Director (ED) Business Affairs, the Head of Finance and Accounts, is a key part of the Group office management team, handling the finances of the organisation.
  • The Head of Finance & Accounts leads a team of accounting officers who manage the finances of the company and its susidiaries.
  • This position is primarily responsible for preparing financial reports which accurately reflect the financial status of the organisation.
  • He / She shall administer and review all financial plans and budgets of the organization, monitoring changes, and keeping the ED, Business Affairs and Group Managing Director (GMD) up to date.
  • He / She will also be responsible for leading and coordinating the annual audit process.

Requirements

  • A BSc degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable institution
  • A Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration  would be an advantage
  • 4 years relevant experience in a similar position
  • Membership of at least 1 professional body
