POSITION : Business Development Manager

Job Description

  • The Business Development Manager will own the client engagement & project management of key client(s) for the company, and will be part of a growing team of client service managers capable of managing, growing and delivering the mobile offering to multiple key clients.
  • It is likely that the successful candidate will have management experience in FMCG, with a strong grasp of the marketing and media industry.
  • Telecoms and/or mobile marketing exposure would be advantageous.

Role includes:

  • Creative and strategic ideation to meet client business needs
  • Day-to-day management of key accounts
  • Project management
  • Reward & redemption modelling, RoI management
  • Accounting and invoicing
  • The Business Development Manager could be drawn from an agency environment in an account manager role or from a marketing manager position in telecoms, FMCG or similar (with 5 - 10 years’ experience).
  • A commonality will be a deep understanding of marketing and the ability to roll up their sleeves to manage clients and marketing projects.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A disciplined project manager who loves to own the operations of complex client and brand engagements
  • Commercially sound with an entrepreneurial attitude and innovative mind set
  • A proven relationship builder
  • Comfortable performing within a KPI driven environment
  • Capable of creativity and problem-solving under pressure
  • The role is based in Lagos, Nigeria and may require some local travel and international travel.
