JOB TITLE:  LE III Immigration Liaison Assistants (2)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The British High Commission is looking for two full time Immigration Liaison Assistants, one for a 12 month renewable contract, and the other for a 6 month temporary contract, to work in its busy Visa Section.
The British High Commission is looking for two Immigration Liaison Assistants (ILAs) to work in the Risk and Liaison Overseas Network Office.

QUALIFICATION

  • We are looking for a British passport holder with good oral and written communication skills. In particular, successful candidates will be able to work quickly and accurately, often under pressure, have a positive approach to tackling problems and a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  • The most important qualities required are diligence, resilience, a flexible approach and the ability to work well both in a small team and individually.
  • Previous experience of working within a visa section or other office environment, good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of computer software packages (notably MS Word, Excel and databases) is essential.
  • Confirmation of appointment will be subject to the successful applicant obtaining the necessary level of security clearance.
