Job description
Supervise and control the good quality of the engineering documents
• Carry out various Oil & Gas production facilities engineering studies
• Carry out studies supervising design contractors
• Liaise with other sections of the Travaux Neufs (New Works) entity
• Perform equipment sizing and specification in accordance with regulatory standards
• Issue specifications for materials procurement according to Client / international standards
• Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries and verify compliance with company procedures
• Validate design studies by ensuring that they are accurate and meet overall Statement of Requirements Activities
• Carry out preliminary and in-house studies / design
• Ensure that the facilities Engineering Contractors submit all deliverables on time and check it regularly
• Prepare data sheets, MTO for flow lines & production facilities
• Draw up equipment material class specifications for material requests to Procurement
• Read and interpret facility engineering drawings, designs and make necessary modifications or recommendations
• Interface with Procurement Dept and Travaux Neufs (New Works) sections for quality assurance
• Draw up and cross-check relevant procedures, international standards and Client technical specifications for studies
• Prepare invitations to tender
• Follow-up Purchase Orders to ensure timely approval
• Control the quality of the deliverables received from third parties
• Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the statement of requirements.
Job requirements
Qualification: University Degree in a relevant speciality
Experience: A minimum of 10 years experience on Oil & Gas production facilities
Knowledge of International standards and regulations
Use of Pack Office and AutoCAD with an experience in project specifications
