RESPONSIBILTIES
- Manages Commercial Specialists and Commercial Managers.
- Oversees implementation of global contracting strategies.
- Excellent knowledge of Tender process in the Oil and Gas industry
- Supports development of corporate contracting policies and guidelines,
- Contract model forms and systems.
- Reviews, drafts and negotiates region and international oilfield service contracts and commercial documents.
- Communicates with company’s Legal, tax, HSE, quality and finance representatives to identify various project-related risks or concerns.
- Identifies worldwide contracting trends and improvement opportunities.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
- Coaches and mentors more junior Commercial Managers.
- Involvement in price book formulation and content.
- Develops commercial strategies.
- Creates commercial tools.
- Works closely with legal on commercial issues.
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of College qualification or equivalent in allied sciences essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and related allied sciences preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience in an oilfield drilling and completions operations environment

JOB TITLE: GEOSCIENTIST SR I

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with Operations group to ensure High Quality Field deliverables and mentor Engineers on Log Responses and applications.
- Maintain the company expected level of log and data quality control. Provide log response and Open Hole analytical support to both internal and external customers.
- Provide geological input to multi-disciplinary projects, from frontier exploration through discovery appraisal to field development and production.
- Perform geological/geophysical interpretation and analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best In Class solutions for the client.
- Present data, interpretations, and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team.
- Advise clients on geosciences matters and provides solutions.
- Mentor and develop talent of young Geoscientists.
- Handle special projects, as assigned by Geoscience manager or Advisor.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor of Earth Science or Applied Geophysics discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years in Open Hole Analysis.
- Possess a good knowledge of standard MWD/LWD/Wireline Logging tools and their responses
- Knowledgeable in Petro-physical volumetric analysis techniques
- Experience with high technology OH tools, ie Sonic, NMR,
- Competency with common Petro-physical Analysis packages, Techlog preferred.
- Experience in advising clients – internal and external in devising appropriate Logging programs
- Good sales and negotiating Skills
- Able to lead by example, a natural team leader who is authoritative, decisive, direct and able to influence the client and subordinates
- Ability to use skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development

- Provide high level of support to the product line(s), technical selling support, key field product applications support, well prognosis and/or completion product performance support.
- May be top engineering/technical position in region or area.
