Must possess first degree in Agricultural science or Animal science.
Must have atleast ten (10) years’ experience of which 5 years should have been as a supervisor in at least 2 of the sections of our farm and the other five years (5) at management level in a large poultry farm.
A Masters’ degree in business administration would be an added advantage.
Membership of professional body (ies) in any segment (Hatchery, Poultry, Mill) of the business that may exist in Nigeria.
Must have good knowledge of hatchery and feed mill operational processes
keeping an up-to-date knowledge of pests and diseases
ensuring that the farm is profitable and meets projected financial targets
recruiting, training/instructing and supervising farm workers
budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records
The ability to find and develop new activities to keep the farm profitable
Good communication and computer skill
Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to poultry and/or farming.
