RESPONSIBILITIES
- In this high profile role, youll head up the implementation of Oxfams global GROW programme in Nigeria, doing all you can to maximise its impact.
- That means working with the Country Director and right across Oxfam to coordinate its delivery - reviewing and shaping organisational objectives, making sure the campaign is delivered to the requirements of the region and generating good media coverage of our work.
- And as you would expect at this level, youll do more than oversee the operational side of things.
- Youll also motivate and coach the campaign project managers, liaise and coordinate with partner organisations and political figures, and ultimately, make sure our collective voices are heard on a global scale.
- Coming from a background in campaigns and advocacy work, youll bring extensive knowledge of the industry and a solid understanding of agricultural policies and livelihoods issues - particularly those affecting West Africa.
- Your ability to think strategically means youll offer sound judgement across a far-reaching decision-making process and have influence over political agenda.
- As confident liaising at a country and regional level as you are on a global one, your communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills will be second to none.
- And its absolutely vital that youre a strong leader whos committed to building collaborative relationships, both directly and indirectly, right across the organisation.
