JOB DESCRIPTION

The UN Women (UNW) is grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls the empowerment of women and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. Placing womens rights at the centre of all its efforts the UN Women will lead and coordinate United Nations system efforts to ensure that commitments on gender equality and gender mainstreaming translate into action throughout the world.

JOB FUNCTION:

  •  Implementation 01 operational strategies.
  •  Efficient administrative support.
  •  Support to supply and asset management.
  •  Support to administrative and financial control.
  •  Support to common services.
  •  Coordinate of Registry and Receptionist functions.
  •  Support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing.


QUALIFICATION

  •  Secondary education Certification In administration desirable.
  •  University Degree In Business or Public Administration but it is not a requirement
  •  6 years of relevant experience In administration of program Support service.
  •  Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word. Excel, etc.).
  •  Experience in handling web based management systems.
  • Fluency In the UN and national language of the duty station.
